A native of West Virginia, Mr. Yurko holds a bachelor's and a master's degree from the University of West Virginia. After graduation, he was employed by an aerospace company that designed and manufactured tactical rocket motors. During his tenure with the manufacturer, he was involved in analysis using various finite element codes, internal rocket motor ballistic analysis, solid rocket motor grains and nozzles design, and rocket motor systems design. He eventually served as the senior project manager managing the rocket motor manufacturing processes at the facility. Now with ED&T, Mr. Yurko provides consulting services in the areas of vehicle accident reconstruction and vehicle systems analysis; mechanical evaluation of damage to machinery, equipment and component systems; and fire origin and cause determination. When not on the job, he enjoys competitive running, road biking, gardening and most anything else outdoors.
State Licenses
Mr. Yurko is a licensed engineer in the states of Alabama, Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
